Local verification, no external API
The ALTCHA challenge and calculation start when you submit. Its library may preload when you focus a field. Verification does not use cookies or collect mouse-movement or scrolling behaviour.
Stored security data
Keyed fingerprints of IP and email addresses, timestamps and counters are stored on our server to limit unsolicited and repeated submissions. These are pseudonymised, not anonymous data. The protection ledger contains no name, message, raw IP address, email address or phone number. IPv6 addresses share limits within a /64 network.
The single-use proof is valid for ten minutes. Limits use rolling windows of up to 24 hours; expired records are removed by the next successful protection transaction. Without traffic, records may remain in private storage for longer.
